Terms and Conditions (TC) for using the mid to long term housing platform on ovohomes.com

Article 1: GENERAL

1. The Terms and Conditions (TC) below apply to the use of the online platform www.old.ovohomes.com (also: ‘platform’), shortly called ‘OVO’.
2. By using our services, users agree to the validity of these Terms and Conditions.
3. By using our platform, users confirm that they follow the national laws and obligations of their country with respect to renting.
4. ‘OVO’ reserves the right to correct its Terms and Conditions in the future. The amendments will not become part of the agreement until the user accepts such amendments.

Article 2:  TERMINOLOGY

‘Ovohomes’, ‘OVO, “we” and “us” are references to ovohomes.com,

‘Accommodation’ means a private room, an apartment, a studio, a hotel room or other house offered through www.ovohomes.com by a property owner,

‘Property Owner’ means a person who owns a place and posts the place on ovohomes.com,

‘User’ means a person who is interested in renting an Accommodation posted on ovohomes.com,

‘Customer’ means a person who rents an Accommodation posted on ovohomes.com,

‘You’ means the Customer or the Property Owner,

‘Request to Book’ means a request submitted by a user for booking an Accommodation,

‘Booking Accepted’ refers to the email sent by ‘OVO’ to the Customer and Property Owner as soon as a Booking Request has been accepted by the relevant Property Owner,

‘Booking Confirmed’ means a request to book Accommodation that was accepted by the Property Owner and paid by the Customer,

‘Rental Start Date’ means the date when the rental period will be started per an agreement of Property Owner and User,

‘Future Payments’ means all the future payments the User has to make directly to the Property Owner in the first week of every month during the stay period, besides in advance 2 months rent fee,

‘2 months rent fee’ means the amount that the User has to pay after ‘Booking Request’ is accepted and it’s considered the first month and last month rent fee;

“Move-in Date” means the date when the Customer moves into the Accommodation as mentioned in the relevant Booking Confirmation email,

‘Contract’ means a written formal agreement between the Property Owner and User which will be signed when Customer moves-in the Accommodation. OVO isn’t a part of the Contract signed between the Property Owner and the Customer,

‘Website’ means any website maintained by ‘OVO’ including subdomains, any associated social networking profiles, and any applications for mobile devices.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully and make sure that you understand them before using the Website. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, you must not use the website.
